We also interface with Finmeccanica corporate procurement activities to mutual benefit.
 
To help achieve this a team of Procurement personnel working together in Italy and the UK has identified;

Company Name Change
 
With effect from January 2010 we have changed our company name. A formal communication to this effect has been released to all Suppliers to our UK and Italian businesses. The changes are as outlined below:

 SELEX Galileo Ltd
Galileo Avionica S.p.A.
our company in Italy
has become
 SELEX Galileo S.p.A.
 
In addition, our Group has a number of subsidiaries to the UK operating company and these have also been re-named as follows:
 
SELEX Sensors and Airborne Systems (US) Inc.
subsidiary of our UK company in the US
has become
SELEX Galileo Inc.
SELEX Sensors and Airborne Systems
Electro Optics (Overseas) Limited
subsidiary of our UK company in the UK
has become
SELEX Galileo Electro Optics (Overseas) Ltd
SELEX Sensors and Airborne Systems (Projects)
Limited
subsidiary of our UK company in the UK
has become
SELEX Galileo (Projects) Ltd
SELEX Sensors and Airborne Systems Infrared Limited
subsidiary of our UK company covering our   business in Southampton in the UK
has become
SELEX Galileo Infrared Ltd
 
This does not constitute a change in the ownership, structure or management of our Group. It will purely serve to strengthen our international brand by aligning the names of the various Companies that make up our overall Group with the brand which we established in January 2008.
 
Consequently there are no changes to our company registration, our VAT number or our company bank account details.
 
From January 2010, all commitments to our Suppliers, including new or amended Orders and Agreements, will be entered into under the new company name.
 
Suppliers do not need to take any action regarding existing Orders, other than to ensure that all new documentation released (including delivery paperwork and invoices) refers to our new company name in line with the changes detailed above, with immediate effect.
 
With regard to existing Agreements, Suppliers shall be contacted directly by our Procurement function regarding any requirements for updates.
 
Again, our Procurement team will issue separate correspondence directly to individual Suppliers, in relation to any other administrative or contractual matters between our organisations.
 
General information including Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) will be published on this website as it becomes available and Suppliers are encouraged to consult this site for updates.
 
In the meantime should Suppliers have any specific queries please relay these in the first instance to your point of contact within our Procurement organisation.
