SELEX Galileo has established a recognised Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) Centre of Excellence in Parcaberporth, West Wales. The facility.pdf (305 KB) is adjacent to the Ministry of Defence Aberporth ranges and provides an ideal location to test and demonstrate UAS platforms and payloads.
 
With its own dedicated taxiway to the airfield and access to the Aberporth military range, the centre enables SELEX Galileo to test, trial and demonstrate sensors and flight systems on a number of unmanned platforms.
 
Capabilities include a comprehensive range of advanced sensors, airframes, control stations and networked ground and air systems. The combined offering of platform demonstrators and payloads, within a self-contained trials facility means that SELEX Galileo has the capacity to offer mission simulation, using real sensors, in real time.
